We would like to share with you some of the emails that we receive on a daily basis and why it’s so important to keep this shelter open.

Each of the following emails are animal’s lives that need a second chance and without our organization they would be dumped or destroyed.

These emails we receive daily are heartening. People trying to do the right thing by giving their animal’s second chances. If we close our doors MANY animals will suffer.

Please don’t let this happen

Donate today to keep our doors open

If we close animals will have one less place to go when they have nowhere to go

Give from your heart and together we can make a difference

Hello,

I have a colony of stray cats that live in my backyard.

One of the female had a litter of kittens. Unfortunately one died, I found one a home but there are two left who are so sweet and social that are in need of a loving home.

Unfortunately I already have 2 cats of my own, a child, and I feed the cats outside.

I’d love to know if you are accepting cats because I won’t put them in anything but a no kill shelter.

If you have a waiting list please let me know.

Thank you for your help

Hi,

I recently had a baby and my cat isn’t doing well with her. I need to re-home her. Her name is Rucifee. She’s 3 years old. Gray and White tuxedo. Spayed. Declawed in the front. Please contact me

Hello:

I have been contacting rescues all morning and nothing. My husband works in a group home that has a house cat. His name is James

The home no longer wants James. They want to kill him. Gave me one week. I need to find a place for James. I live in Philly.

I am desperate. Will move mountains to get him to you. Neutered, up to date on shots, friendly, does not like to be held much.

Please help me….🙁

Dear Cats Bridge:

I have a 2 year old orange tabby named Guen (short for Guinevere) which was rescued and currently needing a new home.

My mom is aging and will be moving in with me. She is allergic to cats and dogs. As much as this seemed like a cruel and painful decision, I decided that my love and duty to my mother should precede my pets.

Still I wish to find her a new loving home.

Please help.

Good Afternoon,

My parents have 2 grown cats living on their porch. We are pretty sure they used to belong to a careless neighbor.

My parents have begun feeding them but it’s been causing unforeseen problems such as cat feces all over the yard and front lawn, expense, and now seems to be a breeding ground for wild animals.

These 2 cats are quite friendly, you can pet them and they purr. It’s heartbreaking that we are unable to afford real veterinary care or shelter for them.

Can you, kindly, advise me of the options available?

I’m pretty sure the Women’s Humane Society would deem them as unadoptable. One has mild mange, the other I believe isn’t neutered. One is male and one is female. The female is definitely spayed.

I just really don’t know what to do about these little guys. They’re good cats. Heartbroken is an understatement. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you for your time.

Hello,

We have a 6.5 yro female cat which we must place for adoption. She was originally adopted from SPCA Bucks County. She has a chip.

Can you please help?!

Hello,

I feel terrible writing this, but my fiancee and I took in my father’s two older cat (10 and 12 years old) when he moved. He moved in with his brother due to financial stress and his brother wouldn’t allow the cats.

I have a 4 an 3 year old cat, as well. All of them get along except for my father’s oldest and my oldest.

They are fighting for alpha male, I assume, and today it got worse–my dad’s cat urinated all over our laundry room and then the 2 got into a fight that went from the basement, to the living room, dining room, and kitchen.

We’ve tried for 2 weeks but I don’t see this getting any better, and we have a 19 month old son to worry about. His cat is 12 years old.

Do you see any hope of us getting him into a no kill shelter? I can’t imagine euthanizing him, it breaks my heart. Hope we can figure something out.

Thank you

Hello:

We currently have a 7yr old male short hair domestic cat. He is neutered, declawed, and up to date on all shots. He is very even tempered and enjoys attention.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to care for him.

Hello,

I have two cats that I am no longer able to care for. They are two and a half year old brothers. Both are neutered and declawed.

I have been unsuccessful in attempts to find them a new home.

Please help.
